Position Summary

We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Division Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Transfer Station in Omaha. This leadership role is responsible for managing personnel, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining equipment, and driving a culture of safety and accountability. If you’re a hands-on leader with experience in heavy equipment operations and team management, we want to hear from you.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, schedule, and direct all Transfer Station personnel, including operators, laborers, and contractors.

  • Maintain strong communication with the General Manager, providing regular updates on operational performance.

  • Ensure daily operations—including equipment usage and transfer trailer coordination—are executed safely and efficiently.

  • Monitor cleanliness and safety of the Transfer Station; enforce housekeeping standards.

  • Identify and oversee maintenance needs and coordinate necessary repairs to equipment and facilities.

  • Investigate and document all accidents and property damage incidents; report findings and take corrective actions.

  • Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

  • Fill in for team members as needed and respond to emergency or after-hours calls.

  • Accurately complete and submit reports, forms, and related documentation.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall operations.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage teams across multiple functions.

  • Knowledge of mechanical operations, maintenance, and minor repairs of diesel and heavy equipment.

  • Experience in operating or supervising the use of heavy equipment (preferred).

  • Effective written and verbal communication across all levels of an organization.

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in an active, physical environment.

  • Visual and auditory capabilities to safely perform job duties.

Pay Range

USD $80,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.
