Now Hiring: Heavy Equipment Operator

📍 Location: Sarpy County transfer station / Springfield NE

📆 Schedule: Monday – Friday with overtime (exact hours TBD)

Are you an experienced heavy equipment operator looking for a great opportunity? We’re seeking a skilled operator to safely and efficiently handle a CAT938 Wheel Loader. If you have a keen eye for safety and precision, we want you on our team!

What You’ll Do:

✅ Perform pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment is clean and fully operational
✅ Operate excavators, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
✅ Monitor waste for unacceptable materials and sort accordingly
✅ Perform routine maintenance and clean tracks/wheels to minimize downtime
✅ Document equipment conditions and report necessary repairs
✅ Adhere to Safety, OSHA, and all regulatory requirements
✅ Clean, service, and store equipment at the end of each shift
✅ Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need:

🔹 Minimum Age: 18+
🔹 Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
🔹 Experience: Prior heavy equipment operation preferred
🔹 Physical Ability: Must lift up to 75 lbs, stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
🔹 Awareness: Strong visual and auditory perception for safe operation
