We’re seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our growing team in Charleston. 🔧 What You’ll Do

• Inspect, maintain, and repair a wide range of heavy equipment, including wheel loaders, excavators, bulldozers, and forklifts
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, brake, and transmission systems
• Utilize manufacturer diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve issues quickly
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and safety
• Ensure all equipment meets DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards
• Maintain required certifications (brake inspections, annual inspections, A/C systems, etc.)
• Manage work orders, track maintenance activities, and assist with parts sourcing and scheduling
• Coordinate purchase orders (POs) with regional fleet teams

✅ What You Bring

• 3–5+ years of experience as a heavy equipment technician
• Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair equipment efficiently and independently
• Experience with diagnostic software and modern repair tools
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
• Comfortable with physical tasks including standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods
